BAĞLAMAAPP

Three tools for your practice.

Know your instrument. Find your sound. Keep your rhythm.

01Short neck / Long neck

Fret Measurement Calculator

Know where every fret belongs.

19 frets for a short neck, 23 for a long neck. Enter the string length to see distances from the lower bridge to each fret, to two decimal places.

02Frequencies / Reference tones

Tuning Frequency Charts

Listen for your sound.

Explore frequencies by tuning and tonic. Follow the guided string selection and listen to synthesised reference tones. Microphone tuning is not available.

0340–240 BPM / Custom groups

Metronome

Practise at your own pace.

Work at 40–240 BPM. Set the numerator and denominator separately, and shape accents with preset or custom beat groups. BPM counts quarter notes.

INSIDE THE APP

A simple interface. Straight to the music.

Turkish and English, light or dark themes, and a large-text option.

BEHIND THE PROJECT

For the love of bağlama.

BağlamaApp is being developed as a free app to make everyday practice easier for bağlama players. Project advisor Aydın Bazin’s fret measurement and tuning frequency charts form the foundation of these tools.
